General: Ascott Raffles Place is the premier flagship serviced apartment of Ascott groups of apartments. Formerly the tallest building in Southeast Asia in the 1950s, carefully restored to present distinct where timeless sophisticated design blends with heritage elements such as the original 15 storey Cutler mail chute and the crown on the top of the building which was installed to mark the coronation of Queen Elizabeth in 1953. sg 03/09

The heritage building restored from its 1950 splendor, with Art Deco architectural facade set against the modern cityscape.

Lobby

Facing the entrance are some water features and a hanging stairs that lead you to the restaurant on the second floor. A stylish wine bar sit on one side of the lobby, on the opposite side sits the reception and sitting area with designer sofa.

Julien Bompard Restaurant operated by award winning chef, Julien Bompard serves selection of Continental Western, Continental Oriental and American.

Rooms

The rooms are of contemporary design with designer fittings, defined living and dining areas and a finely equipped kitchen. The ambience is further enhanced by elegant furnishings and fitting. The 0ne Bedroom Executive room is at 75 square meters. Rooms' amenities include Bose Hifi system with DVD & VCD function, LCD television, iron & ironing board, multi-split air-conditioning, washing machine & dryer and wireless internet connection is available at a charge. The kitchens are equipped with compact cooker hob & hood, glassware, crockery, cutlery & utensils, microwave oven, refrigerator and rice cooker. The equally stylish toilets feature authentic Bizassa tiles form an artful mural on one side of the toilet.
